PRECAUTIONS

Please check with your doctor to see if you are fully ineligible for these treatments.

  • Individuals under 18 years of age.

  • Women who are pregnant or nursing.

  • Individuals with Pacemaker or major heart problems. The numbing agent can possibly increase your heart rate causing dysrhythmias.

  • Individuals with viral infections and/or diseases.

  • Individuals with Lupus.

  • Individuals who have undergone Organ Transplant. The risk of developing an infection is higher in people with compromised immune system.

  • Individuals with any kind of skin condition on or near the treatment area. Eczema, dermatitis, rosacea, psoriasis or any one of these skin conditions may compromise the surface and texture of the skin. Procedure performed on skin with these type of condition may not have the best results.

  • Individuals who are allergic to metal and colour. Patch Test Required.

  • Individuals prone to keloids. Since permanent makeup punctures the skin, there is always a risk for people that are prone to keloids to heal with keloids scaring

  • Individuals who used Accutane. Accutane alters the skin and makes it thin, dry, and sensitive. It also weakens your immune system. For those reasons you'll need to one year after your Accutane treatment is completed and your skin is back to its normal state.

LISTED SKIN CONDITIONS

  • Eczema

  • Psoriasis

  • Keratosis Pilaris

  • Dermatitis

  • Chronic Acne

  • Rosacea

  • Hives

  • Recent sunburn

  • History of Keloids or Hypertrophic scarring


Medications

  • Retinol/Retina-A products, Glycolic Acids, and creams or serums containing AHAs or BHAs (4 weeks prior)

  • Aspirin, Vitamin E, or Ibuprofen (24 hours prior)


You should not receive Lip Blush if you have or have recently had: 

  • Rashes around the lip area

  • Lip Filler (4 weeks prior)

  • Any open scrapes/cuts on or around your lips

  • A cold sore outbreak

I recommend gently exfoliating the day of your procedure (with a sugar scrub or any natural exfoliant) to avoid dry lips and ensure the best pigment retention.

If you have had or suffer from cold sores it is necessary for you to take a doctor recommended anti-viral. This will help avoid a cold sore outbreak.

Other Medical Conditions

  • Diabetes

  • Epilepsy

  • Cancer (Those currently in treatment)

  • Pregnant or Breastfeeding

  • Recent Major Surgery

  • Bleeding Disorders

  • History of MRSA

  • Lupas

  • Hemophilia

  • Sick (fever, cold, flu, etc)

  • Organ Transplant

  • Current Viral Infections and/or diseases

  • A Pacemaker or Major Heart Conditions

  • Auto-Immune Disorders

  • Carbopol

  • Lecithin

  • Proplyne Glycol

  • Lanolin

  • Vitamin E Acetate
